Palma Real Native Community Visit

Overview

Hidden along the Madre de Dios River, Palma Real Local Community is one of the last strongholds of the Ese Eja people. This Half-Day Visit offers an intimate glimpse into their ancestral way of life, where tradition and nature exist in harmony.

Visitors learn about sustainable fishing, hunting, and agriculture, while observing intricate handicrafts made from natural materials. The Ese Eja also share their extensive knowledge of medicinal plants and the rainforest’s delicate balance.

This tour is more than a cultural visit—it’s a rare opportunity to witness a timeless way of life and gain a deeper appreciation for the wisdom and heritage of one of the Amazon’s indigenous communities.
