Tambopata Amazon Tour (2 days)

Overview
Discover the magic of the Peruvian Amazon on this immersive 2-day Tambopata tour, perfect for those seeking a quick yet unforgettable escape into the heart of the jungle. Designed with authenticity in mind, this experience offers a rich introduction to the biodiversity, culture, and landscapes of Tambopata.
Your journey begins in Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the Tambopata National Reserve, where lush rainforest and winding rivers await. Accessible by short flights from Lima or Cusco, this region is one of the most wildlife-rich areas of the Amazon.
Explore the Amazon’s wonders with expert local guides born and raised in the region, who will introduce you to its hidden trails, incredible flora and fauna, and age-old traditions. You’ll visit iconic spots like Monkey Island and Lake Sandoval, glide through jungle rivers by kayak, walk along hanging bridges, and experience the rainforest from above via canopy towers and ziplines.
In just two days, you’ll connect with nature in the most genuine way—spotting caimans under the stars, meeting playful monkeys up close, and observing tropical birds in their natural habitat. Nights are spent in a comfortable Amazonian eco-lodge, where traditional meals and jungle hospitality complete the experience.
