Day 1 – Kayaking & Monkey Island

- Boat ride (40 min) along the Madre de Dios River to the jungle lodge
- Welcome drink and room check-in

- Visit Monkey Island to observe and feed friendly monkey species
- Afternoon rest in hammocks with river sunset view
- Night boat excursion to spot caimans, capybaras, and nocturnal birds

- Stop at ranger station and small eco-museum
- Lunch and short rest at lodge
- Visit to El Gato waterfall for a swim
- Learn about local Amazonian crops
- Return journey: boat (20 min) + vehicle (2 hrs) back to Puerto Maldonado.
